Posters for Fajr Int’l Film Festival in Iran showcase fusion of artistic eastern as well as international elements, Iranian graphic designer says.
Hamid Reza Beidaqi who designed the posters for the latest edition of FIFF disclosed to the media that the posters were made in a way to showcase the Iranian cultural and religious elements “with a look at the international graphics.”
He also added that posters for special sections of the events related to Baltic and Korea Cinemas were designed with a focus on cultural symbols of such countries.
The 35th edition of Fajr International Film Festival organized in Iranian capital city of Tehran started April 21, 2017.
Established in 1982, the Fajr International Film Festival celebrates cultural exchange, displays creative achievements of highly acclaimed cineastes and pays tribute to local and international films.
Since its establishment, the Fajr International Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of the Iranian Cinema.
Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.
The 35th International Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to end on April 28, 2017.
